The vision is nice, seeing on the left almost nothing, on the right the high trees, and a path that leads to a dark forest. It's not too original though, since I've seen many pictures taken of forests, yet it's still nice to see. The technique however, is very well executed, seeing every detail just fine, without something missing. This deviation truly lives toward it's name. It's hard to draw silence, but because of the darkness and emptiness it does create a form of silence. I can't find much to complain about though, there aren't really any flaws, nor mistakes or things it lacks. So good job on this deviation!
I like that it's not the usual cliche forest photo, the one where there's always a narrow long path shrouded by tall trees. Here we have a narrow path, but we only see one side with tall trees and on the other side, the trees have been murdered and sheered away. I think the off balance makes a perfect balance here. Excellent vision.
