Dawn of a new day by JPtHart Dawn of a new day by JPtHart
Loved the soft colours and light that morning, so I didn't post-process them. Hope it doesn't look too dull on your screen.

In terms of vision and originality, this particular piece does not stand out, because it's a very typical setting for a photo. A path or road in the forest, it's very cliche.

That being said, when I saw this photo, I did not think it cliche at all. The colors of the morning contrast very nicely. It was a good choice to avoid post-processing, as it would have most likely taken away from the mood of the photo. You obviously have practice in shooting with different kinds of light. I very much like the dull tones down low, and the brighter colors higher up in the photo, it's very easy on the eyes. I certainly am glad you were there to catch this moment, it makes me miss morning walks.

Astounding. ^ _ ^

this is so pretty! I live in the country so the one thing I always search for is nice tree-lined rural roads. It just makes me feel weird, but nice weird like nothing else can :)

Oooh loverly! There seems to be a glow from the edges of the forest that creates a warm, calming effect that just makes me so happy ^.^ I love the vibrant green of the trees...it's lively without being jarring to the eye. It looks like an amazing place to just take a stroll and get lost in your thoughts. Excellent work! Faved!

My preferred type of forest is a mixed one. Allows for many more specie and seems to better use the terrain.

It Looks beautifully calm, tranquil and peaceful. I love the slight suggestion of mist, the light is stunning. Very Ethereal, true natural beauty. :)
