This shot is really stunning. The composition is, first of all, a good point. The foreground, separated from the background by the fence is an excellent idea.

Somehow, we can wonder what was the original shot, because it would be interesting to see what lies in the editing and what is due to the shot itself.

The depth of field, alterated by the editing gives a blurry aspect, the forest vanishing in front of our eyes in another world. It's both intriguing and fascinating.

The indistinct limit between the ground and the sky has some influence in the atmosphere, both merging into one color, one entity, giving unity and strength to this great shot.

It is truly a landscape of desolation, not with some sadness, but with nostalgia ( maybe ), and moreover, the eye of a great photographer.
